Fund Open for Sales

To all investors/potential investors,

Public Mutual Berhad announced there are three (3) Funds are open for sales on 16th Jan 2012. The Funds are:-

1) Public Tactical Allocation Fund (PTAF) formerly known as Public Global Balanced Fund

2) Public Islamic Asia Tactical Allocation Fund (PIATAF) formerly known as Public Islamic Asia Balanced Fund

3) Public Islamic Mixed Asset Fund (PIMXAF) formerly known as Public Islamic Balanced Fund

Public Mutual declares distributions for 5 funds

Public Bank’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Public Mutual, declares distributions totaling more than RM191 million for five of its funds. The total gross distributions declared for the financial year ending 31 December 2011 are as follows:
Fund Gross Distribution / Unit
Public Savings Fund 7.50 sen per unit
Public Focus Select Fund 2.00 sen per unit
Public Strategic Bond Fund 3.00 sen per unit
Public Islamic Strategic Bond Fund 3.00 sen per unit
Public Islamic Enhanced Bond Fund 3.00 sen per unit

Launched in 1981, Public Savings Fund is the Company’s maiden fund. The fund aims to achieve long-term capital appreciation while at the same time produce a reasonable level of income. Public Focus Select Fund aims to achieve capital growth through investments in medium-sized companies in terms of market capitalisation from diversified economic sectors. Both funds are open for EPF Members Investment Scheme.

Public Strategic Bond Fund and Public Islamic Strategic Bond Fund were launched in December 2010. Public Strategic Bond Fund aims to provide annual income to investors through investments in fixed income securities and money market instruments, whereas Public Islamic Strategic Bond Fund aims to provide annual income to investors through investments in sukuk and Islamic money market

instruments.

Public Islamic Enhanced Bond Fund seeks to provide a combination of annual income and modest capital growth primarily through a portfolio allocation across Islamic debt securities and equities which comply with Shariah requirements. All of the above funds are distributed by Public Mutual unit trust consultants.
